Diana Deering earned her teaching certificate at Seattle Yoga Arts in Seattle, Washington. She has practiced yoga and meditation for twenty years, working with many gifted teachers. Diana is certified in Breema bodywork, and she is a Reiki practitoner and a registered nurse. She believes that through the practice of yoga we cultivate self awareness and a compassionate acceptance of our experience. By coming home to our bodies, we experience greater aliveness and well-being.

Gentle Yoga

Benefit from the healing aspects of yoga in this gently paced integrated movement class. For those with chronic conditions, a minor injury, seniors, or anyone who enjoys the rejuvenation and serenity of moving at a slower pace. We will warm up in the chair and use it for comfort and support during meditation and breath awareness."

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Itís a great practice for everyone, deepening flexibility and strengthening personal body awareness, while relaxing the body from head to toe. Appropriate for seniors, those with balance/flexibility issues, anyone wishing to begin their practice with additional support and confidence provided by the chair.
