Micah Kalb is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist, but yoga was the beginning of her journey into holistic, mind-body wellness. She planned to go into counseling, but after discovering the powerful effects of working to integrate mind, body and spirit through yoga, she decided to approach healing from a more multifaceted perspective.

It is important to Micah that her patients and students feel safe to explore their path of healing with curiosity. As we bring awareness to previously unexplored areas of our minds and bodies, we learn to cultivate compassionate empathy for ourselves and others. She is interested in the ways we can take our yoga practice off the mat, bringing a more awakened consciousness into the world.

Micah teaches Mindful Flow on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. Her classes combine the fluidity of vinyasa with the stability of hatha. She strives to incorporate yin and yang, balancing opposing forces to cultivate greater strength, flexibility and mindfulness.
